HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! <3

I am such a procrastinator.
I procrastinate almost about everything and anything.
At times, i really hate myself for being like that.
Ahhhh someone get me out of this vicious cycle!

Anddd for the first time, im dreading for my bday to come.
Don't really wanna be 19.
I wanna continue being 18! haha.
oh wells, but still kinda looking forward to it.
coz bdays usually=gatherings!
so yah i noe, i jus contradicted myself. LOL.

DIGRESSING,
Made a card and bought durian puffs frm joo chiat, Puteri Mas for daddy!
Initially, wanted to get the durian puffs frm goodwood park hotel.
But unfortunately, the puffs are sold during certain periods of the year. and they are only selling durian mooncake now.
Like why? why cant they sell it throughout the year!
Kinda panicked coz i knew it only last min and i really wanted to get him durian puffs!
so went to yahoo and learnt abt Puteri Mas.
blessing in disguise i guess.
coz it was nearer to my hse and the puffs were really good too!

daddy ate almost 3/4 of it before i even gave it to him. haha!
coz he thought that the puffs were bought by my mum's fren.
damn funny.
but then tt shows tt he liked it very much! im happy. haha.

So, ystd went over to clarke quay to have dinner at Fisherman's Wharf with SDL. haha!
it was my first time there actually.
i tot the fish and chips were good! and it was only 6.50!
portion was almost as big as the ones at fish&co.
haha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GERALD AKA HORSE!

(I reckon that this will be a long post! haha.)
I jus got this news frm daddy.
ThaiPan is closing!
my first reaction was huh?!?! haha.
although im kinda sian of their food but still they had quite a lot of ppl patronising them.
esp the vjcians who crowd the place in the afternoons. haha.
and non residence also travel here to eat.
daddy says the mgmt here wants to change a new caterer thats why.
oh wells all i can say is im hoping tt the new caterer would be good! and not deprove like thaipan. haha.
i remembered being uberly excited when thaipan first opened coz it was soooo diff frm the previous caterer. The furnishings and all.
but i guess they expanded too fast. they started expanding to pasir ris, marine parade etc jus within a few months.
too ambitious alr.
Anyways, they are not really closing down!
they're gonna have a new outlet at changi! i think. haha.

But but, my family and i are invited for their opening ceremony! haha.

Tracking back to 16 aug, sat!
Met up wif some of the volleyballers!
Havent seen some of them for a really long time!
All the bfs were there. haha. botak heads.
kaili and i were the only sad ones. LOL.

We settled at newyork newyork for dinner.
Oh and yilin's gg to UK,London not US or aussie. haha.
She's intending to do Law there.
But thing is she's nt feeling scared or sad gg over there.
I wonder how i'd feel if im the one who has to go.
Sad? scared? or super excited? coz im gonna start another stage of my life in an enitrely diff place. to be able to start all over agn.
well yeah maybe but i reckon i'd feel really sad the second time i leave. well maybe, im jus guessing. haha.
in case i leave for australia one day, sth which i've been harping on for a looong time. life in singapore is too fast-paced alr. so fast that at times i find it hard to breathe. =(
but it wun be in the near future i suppose. or it may not even happen! haha.

Then on tues, 19th Aug.

Mummy came back frm paris/london.

Hearing mummy talk about her trips is also the funniest thing ever.

She never fails to tickle me wif her stories.haha.

Mummy bought us tops anddd chocolates!

But other than chocs she bought this box of sth which the family has nv eaten before! haha.

Its sth like meringues wif cream filled in it. omg it was super delicious!

the box was done in a nite.haha.

i think u can get it in s'pore? but it'd be super ex and nt as nice i heard.

haha.

Met up wif the gals ystd!

swimming was cancelled.haha.

and anyway it rained so luckily we cancelled it.

So, we went to the swensens at T2 for their student lunch!

It's ++9.50 for a meal plus free flow of drinks.

the meal ranges frm pastas to burgers to baked rice!

super worth it. haha.

we started camwhoring after our meal. lol.

we stayed at swensens for over 3 hrs. talked about everything and anything under the sun. did a lot of catching up.

felt a little nostalgic when we started talking bout the past. our sec/jc life. esp sec sch days. everyday was so carefree! we didnt have to think about anything but jus play. Play play and more play! how we'd rush thru lunch after sch to play volleyball till 6 plus. There was always sth to look forward to after sch! Those days in the library where we'd go there to 'study' haha. and how noisy our grp always was till the librarian mdm noor knows us. lol. studying wasnt as stressful then.

In jc, though a tad more stressful due to promos and the big As. But SSG and the animal farm made my life in jc so much more memorable and fun! ahhh i miss those days soooo much man! =( those days with uniform, i dun have to think about wad i wanna wear. those days where we have to reach sch at 7.30 sharp and everyone wld start running or rushing to the gate everytime we see the gate closing.

surprisingly, im missing things which i hated most in sch. haha. these lil things were apart of my 12 yrs of studying. so im still nt used to it i guess.

oh well since im in sim-uol now, tt means i wun really be able to experience wad campus life is like but still i'd tried to make the most of my 3 yrs here! create as many memorable experiences!

for now, seeing so many tpjcians in sch jus makes it a tad comforting.

Jus typed a whole entry but deleted it all.
I had many things in mind and needed to let it out somewhere.
But it was kinda like heart felt thoughts so ended up not posting it. haha.

I guess im afraid that history might repeat itself agn.
Scary. haha.

oh wells not gonna elaborate any further. haha.

my motivation to exercise now is so high. SO HIGH.
cant believe how helpless i felt while running.
like gosh. my more than 8 mths of deceiving myself will end today. yes TODAY! haha.

so yeah maybe ur right, i'll never know.

It's ironic how i only have school twice a week but yet im out everyday except for today. But will be out agn tonite. haha.
Dinner tonite will be with the volleyballers. It's sth like a 'send off' for yilin coz she's leaving for the US to study.
Tt reminded me of jialin's send off. Everyone was very emotional tt day.
But i'll be waiting for 16th nov! when u return! =)

Ive had loads of good food for this week!
But when i say good food, it dosent have to be food tts ex, it can also be food tt u put in ur mouth and say 'hmmm nice!!' haha.
Like dinner wif the pig at simpang bedok ystd.
Food was good but wasnt pricey. But i think we ordered too much! haha. It's at SPIZE if ur wondering. hah.

Back tracking a little to wed, our og celebrated fiona's bday at Blu Jaz!
The atmosphere was very cosy and romantic. laid back i'd say!
great chill-out place too! haha.
coz the place was totally dimly litted.
gals we shld go there someday!

That place had 2 lvls.
The second level which we went after dinner was for drinks.
it was much more romantic. haha.
Fiona's bf came shortly from behind, holding a cake.
super sweet i tell you! haha.
The surprise was a success! leaving fiona really shocked! lol.
I found it really sweet coz usually the bf would liase wif the gal's closer frens, no?
But instead wif the og mates. haha.
Btw, i thought the cake was really nice! lol.
Its frm four leaves, chocolate exotic.
I left the place wif a bad headache thou. =(
but luckily by the time i reached hm im fine alr. =)

so yeah no pics frm blu jaz coz my cam is happily helping mummy take pics in london. hahaha.
mummy's gonna be back soon! tues i think.
coz of time diff and all.
and yah home is really not the same w/o u mummy!

Before i end off, BIG CONGRATS to the Singapore Women Table Tennis Team! They made it to the finals! Its been 48 long yrs of wait! haha. Now, i cant wait for the finals!

HELLO PEOPLE!
i've decided to blog and not procrastinate it! haha. sth tt i must change!
schedule has been rather packed even though i only go back to school on tues and thurs. 2 lessons each day. 1 lesson 3 hrs so 6 hrs for a day. haha.
but im nt complaining coz i planned it. and it was smart move coz clementi's like damn far. and im very grateful tt i've got shiya! =) i bet ur gateful u have me too rite? HAHAHA.

anyway, digressing a little.
i FINALLY changed my msn nick!
sapphire no more! haha.
but the thing is everyone's gg why lyn? no more sapphire?
so yeah why lyn. let me explain it. coz i wanted lin. but i tot it looked ugly so i decided to change the i to y.
Its not a new christian name or wadsoeva. coz there are some who said why dun put another n behind the lyn.
haha.

So coming back.
On 27 july, met up wif my og mates for swensons and minds cafe!

Thats Elaine! It happened to be her bday tt day. so we decided to give her a surprise. The cake was cookies and cream ice-cream cake! cookies and creammm my all time fav! hahaha. so yup she was super surprised haha.coz totally didnt expect it.

On the 31st July,

I met up wif my gals!

They are my bestest gifts! hahaha.

met shiya earlier for shopping in town. but we ended up walking in circles coz we were too busy catchin up about the foc! lol. super funny la. in the end we just sat at a corner to talk. haha.

After tt we met keli and jiayi at the cafe cartel at siglap.

WE HAD BROWNIES! it was really very good! the chocolate was damn rich plus the sesame to give it tt crisp feel. haha. gosh i havent eaten brownie tt good in a long time except for the one at billy's. but i think this is better. slightly cheaper ard 6 plus and the portion's big!

we also had bread pudding. but sadly it wasnt tt good. haha.but it definitely looks good! i mean i wouldnt say tt its bad la. its jus tt those wif milk drizzled on top and served piping hot! ohhh yummms! cannot compare lo. lol.

we cant wait to gobble u up! haha.

Then jus last mon, went out wif carolyn and kieran.

well i guess i wasnt suppose to be there la. haha. but carolyn asked me along and told me nt to ps her. so me being the nice fren, i obliged.

but somehow i was glad i went? coz i figured tt there would be loads of awkward silences w/o me. HAHA.

so it wasnt tt bad actually. i tot kieran wouldnt be happy tt i went and then outcast me. =(

haha but he said i was thinking too much. lol.

we watched the dark knight. it wasnt tt gory like wad some of my frens said. coz they didnt really show wad happened. haha.

but i think christian bale's pretty gd looking. hah.

WHY SO SERIOUS??? haha. famous quote by the joker.

after tt had dinner at shokudo at cine.

it was ok la. all of us had the student meal. lol.

so yeah i only spent 10 bucks tt day. coz movie was paid by kieran coz of the vouchers or sth.

if only i can spend jus 10 bucks everytime i go out.

but its almost impossible nowadays. everything's so pricey.

Then last thurs,

I TOOK THE FLYER! haha. super happy la.

i tot i'd nv take the flyer coz it's damn ex.

but my fren had this 10 bucks tix. haha.

but we were kinda unlucky coz the sky was kinda dark? it looked like it was gonna rain anytime soon. but luckily it didnt!

then we went to watch money no enough.

gosh it was so funny. haha.

esp the 'eat alr nt' tt part. laugh till stomachache.lol.

we always dun have enuf money!

then the day after national day, mum flew to paris+london.

super cooool la! i wanna go to! =(

but too bad i have sch.=(

haha. okay nvm. now i cant wait to see wad she brings back!

ate at the airport at this place called treasure sth. its in T1.

omg. they freakin cheated our money?!

the waitress claimed tt sharing a plate of char sao plus you ji for 2 would be cheaper. but actually it was slightly more ex compared to ordering a plate individually. but we went ahead with it thinkin tt the portion might be more. BUT NO! the portion looked like it was jus able to fill 1.

bro obviously didnt have enuf. so no choice ordered another plate for jus himself! and the portion was soo much bigger la!

tsk.

Then ystd was out to town agn.

had din tai fung for dinner! loveeeee the red bean dumplings! super yummy! the fried rice too!

and service was good! lol.

okayy super long entry. hope it'll make up for the other entries. lol.

i'll try not to procrastinate anymore. haha. TRY.

so anyway sch's been pretty okay. still survivng i hope! haha.
